The rear driver side door interior lock/unlock toggle piece broke off the other day when my friend was getting out of the car. How do I go about buying a replacement/fixing it? Hi liliceman77. :D I believe the entire door handle assembly seen in the picture must be replaced, and to do so you need to remove the door panel. If you are going to do this yourself, there are "How-to's" available. As with all parts for our cars, the quickest and easiest way to get the part would be to purchase it at your local Ford Dealers Parts Department. I believe the MSRP cost is in the $50-$55 range. That being said, you can also purchase the part for less (but need to factoring shipping) at an online Ford Parts sellers, such a s Team Ford Parts Online - LINK - Team Ford Parts Online Third option would be a local Salvage Yard. While it will probably be the least expensive option, you are getting a used part. Let us know how you make out.
