According to an insider who's seen it in person - "It is close....but the production vehicle looks even more sinister and the greenhouse flows better. "

Now I see where the Aston Martin comparisons came from.

This is just a rip off of the ford Evo concept look it up he photoshoped on to it. i guess I could be wrong though.

LOL, chopped up Photo Shopp'ed photo of what it could look like..lol.. I guess we will need to wait til later close to release date I am sure we'll see real spy photos.

If it looks close to the PhotoShop photo I like it but if it's anything like the Focus, No thanx. I don't like the grille nor the tail lights of the Focus.

Did you miss the quote above from someone who has actually seen it? We've seen spy photos but they're heavily camo'd and some could be testing mules that don't have all the new parts so it's hard to tell.

The more I look at the pic of the tail lights the more I see a resemblance to the Sonata. I love the rims on the car in this pic. As long as they don't make the front as big as the Sonata, it will be nice. When I drove the 2011 Sonata it was like like driving a boat. Funny how style fades though. When i first saw the Sonata last year I loved it, now I look at it and say Blah! Why can't consumers just custom make their own car. Now that would be just awesome!

Ford is taking its engine downsizing strategy to extremes with the next-generation Fusion mid-size sedan, with plans to offer a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder version. That may sound unbelievably small, but the engine will get Ford’s EcoBoost technology with turbocharging and direct-injection and should deliver roughly 180-hp.

In addition, Ford will also offer a version of the 2.0-liter Ecoboost 4-cylinder that has just been introduced under the hood of the 2012 Explorer and 2012 Edge. In the Edge, that engine makes 247-hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, more than enough for any mid-size sedan.

In order to get the most fuel economy from this new model (which is expected to grow slightly from the current Fusion), the 2013 car is expected to get start-stop technology as well as grille shutters that close at speed to help improve aerodynamics.

Look for the 2013 Ford Fusion to bow at the Detroit Auto Show this January.

Recent (Sept 30) Spy Photos if you can try to see through the car coat. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2013-ford-fusion/#photo-4491183

Can't wait to see it already!!!
