linda_fordfusion12
We always had Fords until we bought a Saturn. Saturn is no longer plus our Saturn was getting old, hard to get parts for, and had some body damage. We decided to trade it as it had pretty low mileage for its age, and we could still get something for it. I dragged my heels though as I hated to get a new car. My husband looked on the net and showed me a Steel Blue Fusion. I immediately fell in love with it.. A few days later we visited the dealership and took a test drive. Liked the style, handling, features and best part - didnt put a large hole in our pockets.
WestHouston
My son's 2010 Focus was 2.5 yrs old, so the 3 yr warranty is almost up. Since he's off to college, we looked around a larger/safer car for our daughter. With the 2013 coming in soon, Ford dealers were giving great discounts on 2012's. So we traded in the Focus for almost the same price as we bought it for, & picked up a new 2012 Fusion SEL for almost $8000 off MSRP. So Yes, we bought because of great pricing. Only paying $80 / month more for 2.5 extra yrs for a brand new fully loaded Fusion w/ a brand new warranty, new tires, new everything. So bigger & safer car, with great gas mileage for our daughter.
indifferent
X-Plan priceing was the deciding factor... Was between this and Accord Coupe.

GCFF2010
What made me choose my fusion was how comfortable it was but how classy, yet masculine it was too. I chose this car over a Mazda3 and 6, a scion tc, a jeep compass, a 2010 hyundai sonata, and I think like two other vehicles. The fusion by far was the most impressive to me. The car over fealt better than any of the other cars, so almost instantly I forgot about the other cars once I drove the fusion. Mind you, I was never EVER a Ford guy at all. Once I drove it, I was like WOW This is a ford!!! And sure enough I bought it. Never regretted it since.
msdr260
What sold me on the Fusion was the gas milage. I drive over a 100 miles a day for work & the F-150 was costing $160-$180 a week to fuel. So it was time to find something that was cheaper to operate. So off to the dealer we went to look at the options they had. I liked the way they looked since they came out . Test drove an 2010 I4 SE and was almost sold & walked the lot & seen a 2010 SEL V6. It had the moon & tune and factory certified and only 1K more in price. Decided on the SEL for the power & upgraded interior. So now getting an avg of 29 mpg I cut my fuel costs in half & still able to keep the F150 for the snow days.
Poirot1959
I was looking for an all wheel drive and since I am 6.1' and about 260 I needed a confortable car. I also wanted the moonroof. Most of the car I tested was either too small for headroom or too short for leg room. I also did not want to buy a SUV. Ford had My Ford touch and Sync, also available was the GPS. I took the time to read a lot of reviews before making my decision and cause of the overhall interior dimension (I was confortable in it as opposed to the other model) and had good option available that my wife wanted we opted for the Fusion 2009 SEL AWD brand new, plus most of the review where very good. I never regreted my choice since then. Now waiting to get my new 2013 Fusion Titanuim, Hope to get it before Christmas lol.
