I'm looking to lease a merc milan awd premier.

can anyone tell me if you can get back up sensors on the milan? one of the design flaws are that the butt is too big, and its hard to see when backing up. every other mercury offers it as an option. none of the ford dealres are sure. for the fusion and milan, they have no idea. but you can get it on the zephyr / mkz.

i dont want an after market, i will pay for a stock feature.

the same goes for the keyless keypad. for a 28,000 dollar mercury, i want a keypad and backup sensors.

ford is losing millions to overseas automakers, and its because of stupid things like this.

if anyone knows about this, please let me know.

i dont trust the dealers, because they also tell me you cant get a fusion awd, or a milan with a navi. these guys are idiots. please help. - skarlad@aol.com. thanx, -Nathan

Why don't you just go to kbb.com or lincoln.com and look up the available options for yourself?

It's why I went to work for these guys and the reason I hound Dan G. about a hi-po Fuse :stats:

Last time I spoke with Dan Geist, he said a higher performance version Fusion was on track. He wouldn't say much more than that. My wife wants the Edge over the Fusion (we have many dogs), but I do believe a hi-po Fusion would do wonders for Ford's image. :banvictory:

Ford offers an "add-on" keyless entry pad that sticks on the door above the outside door handle. As to the "design flaw" most of the JAP cars out there must have gone to the same design school. A lot of them have the same "butt to big" design. having driven a fusion for a week, I became very used too the "big butt" design and don't find the need for a reverse sensor system. good luck! Scott,

We've had our SEL AWD 2007 Fusion for a month and I still can't get used to the "big butt" no visibility to the rear design. I've already had a couple of gentle "taps" when backing up. It is definitely a design disadvantage but I would never pay what it would cost for a reverse sensor system.
