I driven last winter in Minnesota when we has the three snow blizzards. It was able to the job just fine. I have winter tire this year on my car so I have better traction during the winter weather. Overall I will say that they Ford Fusion will do good in the winter conditions. Where I live, we tend to get a lot of snow and ice. Get the SEL ( better balance) AWD version and downsize the tires to 205-60-16 (winter or all season, see tirerack.com) with light weight wheels. BlackBetty Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 My sister in law has a 4cyl fusion with winter tires and has no problems in our Canadian winters. I drive an AWD sport and just got some winter tires but no snow yet. But, my brothers buddy has an AWD sport with winter tires and he says it's the best winter vehicle he's driven. He has had a number of cars, 4x4 trucks and suv's. Most of winter driving comes down to the driver.
