1ofakindgt Posted December 26, 2011 Share Posted December 26, 2011 I have a 2007 Fusion ive had Hid 8000k installed before and they always flickered in cold weather and were just an overall pain in the butt. Im getting my bumper taken off and painted while they are in there I want to install a fresh set in headlights and fogs. I want blue but not overkill and I dont want issues. Is there a brand anyone could recommend were im not going to have issues. My old set in cold weather I would have to unlock my doors which kicks the headlights on then get in turn the switch on for headlights then start the car. If you started the car then turned headlight switch on they would just flicker. But in warmer weather they worked fine until they just went out one day and I said the heck with it and put silverstars in. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Oldguy16 Posted December 27, 2011 Share Posted December 27, 2011 I've installed and use DDM kits on my Fusion. I have 55w 8k's in both headlights and fogs, you want more blue, I would go 10k 55w kit. They have been reliable to me, as long as the wiring is done correctly.
