Idowa
Bought the $25 LED strips from AutoZone that are designed to be seen from the side. Turned out really nice, IMHO. Just wired them into the parking light wires and they are nearly invisible when off.
FusionDiffusion
Sweet! They're like angry eyebrows. It'd be cool if you got color changing ones.
Ruggybuggy
Do you remenber the manufacture or part number? Looks as they are sitting on top of the headlight. How about a closeup?

billm0066
I'm just not a fan. I like the look of Audis, because they use much better leds and separate them so you can see each one. Those strips are really cheap, and will just burn out after a short time. Fyi the ones at auto zone are the same ones you can buy online for next to nothing.
dennisw
Looks cheap and up close totally messed up look. Not worth the 18.00 bucks. As for the life of these they do last very well. The clear lens as background shows the circuit looks very bad. Don't waste you're money. I have used these same strips on other applications but this one is just a bad look. Another note these strps do come in other colors and you can cut them to any length needed. Edited January 28, 2012 by dennisw
andrewdingemans
would you be able to take a picture up close of how you installed it? I have a set of high quality ones that look identical to yours, but i havn't been able to get them layed out nice enough for me to permanently stick them on. Please and thanks.
dennisw
These strips are peel and stick it could not be easier, the only problem is from 20 feet up they look bad and tacked on. Again don't waste the money. Do it right take the lights apart and install these or other type on the inside of the light.

Darn, That's what I was afraid of, maybe once the warranty is up i'll dive into grabbing a set of spare lights and try to make some custom lights.

Fusionpursuit
Id like to get LED light bar style strip similiar to the Fiesta/Edge/Taurus solid glow running lights. I really like those, even they do a poor job as fog lights, but I already got real fog lights

I had them on my Taurus and hated it. They are pretty dim and don't look that well at all.
