DANACAR Posted January 1, 2007 Share Posted January 1, 2007 We love our new Fusion and really only have one complaint , a slight wind leak at ear level on both front doors. We took the car back to the dealer to address the problem and were told that after test driving another 06 and one new 07 it was a inherent problem and there was nothing they could do. That doesn't sound (no pun intended) right. We have an '07 SEL Fusion and haven't noticed any wind noise coming from any of the windows. Boz Danacar: Well now I know that we are not CRAZY. My problem seems to be addressed by this TSB. http://us.f13.yahoofs.com/bc/43dafb42mc9a5...C38g6FBxEI.5hB4 I have had my 2007 Fusion SEL AWD fully loaded since 1/28/07 and I LOVE it!! :happy feet: The only problem I had was with this wind noise that developed after week two. I am glad I found this TSB! My dealer has been great and has been trying to figure out where the wind noise was coming from. When I get the chance I will bring it in for the fix. A black rubber seal fell off on the door B-pillar and I thought that replacement would fix the issue. It did not. Apparently a seal must be moving out of place over time and causes this to start. I start to hear it at about 45 mph. Mine was 45mph and faster. Brought mine in and they ordered the window seal. I will let you know if that works. I think it is more window than the seal on the frame of the door. You should bring yours in too and tell them to perform this TSB. I took my 06 Fusion SEL to the dealer today (March 15, 2007) about the same problem with wind noise. They said there has been a Ford Recall on that but the parts won't be in until August for it to be fixed.
