Fusionpursuit Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Knock on Wood, my Sport Rims are doing fine, but if for some unforeseen reason, I get pothole busted or curb rash, I was wondering about the anthracite/gunmetal grey Mustang Bullitt Wheels. Saw them on a Gen 1 Fusion and they looked spiffy. With a lower profile tire, the ride is smoother, there's not as much "bounce" in the tire. But if you do hit something, its a harder hit. Interesting that you stated you had the center bore increased, most online sources have said the MKS wheels have a larger bore than the Fusion. Do you recall the exact center bores for both the MKS wheel and the Fusion? Follow-up: It looks as though the Fusion is 67.1mm and the MKS is 63mm. Which makes sense to rebore.
