I will have to ask Larry, he has been off for the last week so I have not recieved official word if we have become an official sponsor. Let me look into the 2012 Fusion for the sway bar, I have not recieved much info on it yet, so I will let you know Monday.

Thanks

I actually do not have an OE swaybar laying around. You would have to weigh once, my apologies.

But our street bar weighs roughly 7 lbs. The race bar weighs 11 lbs.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,

TJ

what is the differences between the street and race sway bar for handling/smoothess and is their a front sway bar for the 2010 fusion sport? i saw a strut tower brace, is that the same as the sway bar for the front?

thanks

Sorry for reviving a rather old topic, but the race bar is thicker compared to the street bar and a little more rigid. The 2010+ fusions already have sway bars, but I have not seen an upgraded bar, which may or may not be beneficial. If a new bar was provided, some endlinks should also be made up. The strut bar for the front on the other hand I find helps in the cornering. I clearly saw that when doing 45km/h around a corner and I was getting understeer, and without it I could safely do 55km/h without understeer.
