Hguertin
Is it possible to add fog lights to a fusion that did not come with them? Can they be tied to the same switch as the headlights or would they have to be on their own switch? I prefer not to have a separate switch unless they would shut off when the car was shut off. (fear of forgetting them on and killing battery!)
FusionSVT
Just connect them with the parking lights or the headlights so they can turn on/off with the factory switch.
Blue 11 Fusion
If I remember right all of the wiring is there... All you have to do is buy the fog lights and the headlight switch and connect everything.

We would like to help put something together if possible but do not have the luxury of physically taking a vehicle apart to see whats there and whats not Thanks for any input! -Benny

MorrisGBee
I have a 2013 SE. I had the dealer install the driving lights when we bought it. They first said they would have to send it out for an aftermarket install. I said no way! Wanted them to look and act as installed from the factory. They went to their parts catalog and found all the parts. Everything is as if the lights were installed at the factory, except the "Driving Lights On" indicator light on the dash does not work. Ford says they cant make that work unless the lights are installed at the factory. That is hard to believe. I'm looking for any tips on this. Not sure if this helps any but you can get there!
thefoeyouknow
You'll need the dealer to change the as-built data installed in the BCM and IC to match that of a car that is factory equipped as you specify. If all the other components are present as if it was factory installed, and you have the module base programming matched up, it should work.
