I also bought the tuner to tune the car, tried out 87 W/cai TBS and it is amazing sounds and feels much better and faster! The front strut bar is also VERY worth the money it improves handling immensely especially on making tight turns.

This is the insert (sleeve) that you remove IF you have a tune! if you don't have a tune you keep it in! its real easy to take it out, just unscrew and it slides out!

Make sure that your tune is for sleeveless. There is a slight difference between the sleeve-in and sleeveless tune so make sure that you have the right one or you can run the engine too lean if you don't have the sleeveless tune. Otherwise everything looks awesome. I noticed a huge improvement after the front strut bar went in. Do you have your car lowered or still stock height?

thanks, my tune is sleeveless , I did add a picture of the removed sleeve and stated you need to remove it with a tune! car is at normal height, i like the clearance off the ground! the next thing i want to get are the exhaust, hood strut kit and upgraded lights, i don't want to pay the $$$ for HID but I did see putco brand low beam/ fog lights i would want, do you know anything about them? i also waned to see about getting the FORD logo on the front

Clearance isn`t too bad with the steeda springs and it sure doesn`t make the ride uncomfortable. Only place I have scraped the bottom is on place in Toronto where there is a pot hole right before a speed bump.

Hood struts are totally awesome, takes a few minutes to install. What Exhaust are you looking at getting

HID`s are a good investment, but everyone has their opinion about them, do some research. I have a set in my fogs and headlights. I have had a whole wack of problems but mostly due to my daytime running lights causing the problem and an inadequate wiring harness. If you do go that route, pay the money upfront to buy a good kit. Also, mount the ballasts out of an area where it will get water and I would suggest shrink wrapping or electrical tape over any of the connectors, the rubber gaskets that are there don`t always do the greatest job as my brother has replaced a cheapo set for his Mazda 3 a few times already because of rusted connectors.

I have a guy up here who will print any vinyl logo`s as long as you provide it to him. I had white ones done as I painted over the stock ones with black paint.

Good luck with the mods.

yeah I heard they were pod but just to much money for a set, plus you need new harness cables, I think ill stick with regular light bulbs, the stock ones aren't bad i just want brighter! I was looking at the steeda website at the magna flow cutback exhaust, and also the borla, most likely will pick the magna flow thru steeda! great company and service! My tiers r also worn a little so I was looking at continental DWS tires! they were rated highly for all weather and performance, I am from connecticut (about 9 hours south of ontario) and it snows a lot here so all weather is a priority!

speaking of canada are you a hockey fan?

Alot of fusion owners have installed the magnaflows with great success. I have personally opted for the Borla as I was looking for a slightly throatier sound. Sometimes the all weather tires are a good choice but there are mixed reviews with them being used in very cold temperatures and in ice. This past winter season hasn't been that bad up here in Toronto, but I am sure you are aware of how bad it can become. I would personally recommend a separate set of winter tires; I have a set of winters along with my all seasons even for the fact I have AWD, the winter tires will give proper stopping power.

Sorry not much of a sports fan, I am what is considered a workaholic, with a split between my full time job as a construction project coordinator and the owner of my own 2 companies, there is very little extra time for any sports HAHA.

Something to keep in mind... the magnaflow from steeda is not actually meant for the AWD... i didnt do the install but I do have the steeda magnaflow on my AWD, but it did take modification, these modifications were done in barn so how hard could they have been LOL

anyways another site to check out that has EVERYTHING for fusions is http://www.cd3performance.com/

small company dedicated to basically just us fusion guys, very trusted and he has the actual AWD exhaust from magnaflow and borla... lots of other toys that other sites dont even know fit our cars too...

I compared the part numbers... it does look like they are the same, steeda's site just doesnt list why there are two different sets of hangers.

Check out the other fusion forum some time, youll see CD3 is a favorite of many of us over there... youll also notice steeda doesnt have many ratings... youve only heard of them because of their mustang business... the fusion business is tiiiiiiny and he's dedicated to pretty much just us.
