WestHouston
We still haven't stored anything on the top middle dashboard storage box yet. Seems like a very odd place for a storage box. So just curious, what items do you store there?
TexasThumper
We put bridge toll dollars in there.

jeff_h
4-5 packs of gum, 3-4 pens, and nail clippers. Never did think of putting the EZ-Pass in there, it's stuck on the windshied behind the mirror.

Wonder what the designers were thinking...?

FusionDiffusion
I keep my EZ-Pass in there (thats the northeast version of a toll payment tag) Does it still pick it up when it's in there? I thought they had to be stuck the windshield for reception?
mjktg99
Mine still gets picked up. The 1st time I tried, I drived slow through the toll to make sure it read and I was able to see "Go EZ Pass Paid" One time in another car I was traveling for work and I wanted to pay cash and get a reciept so I put the ez pass under my seat and it still picked up. I went to the cash toll booth and the lady said "you paid with ezpass". I could imagine that as they get older and the batteries wear down, it might be an issue.
Chingon
I keep my sunglasses in there - since they don't fit in the damn sunglass holder And no, I don't have obnoxiously large Jersey Shore white frame stunner shades...

The only way to be certain the EZ pass isn't read is to put in the foil bag that you should have received with it. WRT age, they replace the units after a certain time in service. They send replacements with a postage prepaid return envelope for the old one. If you don't return it within 2 weeks they charge you $25.
Bhagen05
All i Have is my cell phone charger, AUX cable and a dust cloth for the dash board. Nothing too exciting, but things that I thought it would have in there instead of the glove box.

muphasta
McDonald's receipts. I've not eaten there in months, but that is pretty much all that is in there. I used to put my shades in there, but stopped since my head got singed because they were so hot! It gets very hot in there w/out the use of a sun shade for the windshield! No pens, no gum, nothing that could get runny.

I see you read my earlier post... have never had any issue with the pens getting hot & damaged, but the dentyne ice pieces of gum do often crack from the heat!
Fusionpursuit
I put my EZ pass in there and doesnt matter if the toll does not pick up once in a while cause with our tolls, they have a highspeed camera that will read the license plate and match it to existing EZ pass accounts and get charged accordingly.
