Will do if I have time (test drive the Accord). Also what I didn't like about the new Fusion is the thick pillars inside, it cuts alot of viewing. All I know is this, it felt like a totally different car than the outgoing Fusion. And I know that's what a redesign is, but somethig about the shiny black cheap plastic parts and cheap materials inside that threw me off, to me, it didn't feel like a $38k car. And the car is heavy, whih coud be a good thing because it could make someone feel safer when driving. Otherwise, it drives nice. I need more time with it, for example rent it for the weekend, before I can say I want to buy it. Driving around the block is nothing. (It could also be that I was driving the white colour and I hate white...lol)

Its because Canada sucks... I live here and yeah it does. Prices are higher on every single thing you buy, your income tax is much higher and so is purchase tax. There is no real upside to living in Canada - its a worse country to live in.

What? But you have Tim Hortons!

R u for real? you must in your 20's to say a comment like that. Just because it's very expensive here it doesn't make it a bad country, we have got one of the best economies among the G8 countries. People line up to immigrate here and other's come here illegally because Canada is an awesome country. You need to go out there and experience life before you come up with rubbish. No offense to the American's but I wouldn't want to live in their country. As far as economy, equal rights, social system and a very devided country. Oh and everyone down there becomes famous for nothing and being a clown...lol

If you don't like Canada, USA is calling.

Here's some info that you guys can use:

You can PM http://www.facebook.com/FordCustomerService (Natasha) to get build updates on you car.

Here's what she(he?) said to me when I gave her my Order Number and my Dealer name and address (Galpin):

Sure thing, Kenneth! To make future updates a bit easier, the dealer code is F71040. Your order was successfully accepted into the system and is awaiting VIN assignment. Please PM me next week and I’ll check for the latest update.

Have a great afternoon!

You have no idea what you are talking about, or maybe you should look a bit around you. Yes taxes are high, yes car are more expensive here then in the states. But being the worst country to live in! Come on wake up and smell the coffee. Canada is one of the top country to live in. Maybe you should try living in Europe, like Greece, or in the middle east.

As for the price of a Titanium mine is just under 40k with navigation, 19" and moonroof. Still waiting for a VIN number and I ordered mine august 23th. Now I have a deal with the dealer, to find me any Titanium with the same package as long as it's not white, black or red and I will take it. Even willing to get more option as long as I don't have to wait another 2 months.

I said "its a worse country" as in it is a worse than the United States of America to live in. Oh and you're from Montreal? You pay even higher income tax and purchase tax! You're working more for someone else than your self...

So for fun on weekends you go to Square One Mall? Like come on... Canada really does suck - you just don't know it. Travel to Pairs, the United Kingdom, Japan, Hong Kong, New York, California - you will see Canada is pretty baren, over taxed and boring. Either way my car was 36k all in w/ 505A Luxury Package, Adaptive Cruise Control and Tech Package. I regret not getting the driver assist package :(.

I dont know where Cyberdman has gone he hasn't posted in the tracking forum since October 17th.

Here's the thing. I was thinking of trading in my 2011 Ford Fusion, nothing is wrong with it, mostly has to do with the fact I get bored easily. I paid $29k CAD for it NEW July last year, it was that expensive because I have the luxury package with Moons & Tunes, Reverse sensors and spolier. Today the Ford dealership appraised it at $14k CAD, Honda dealership appraised it at $15k. I already knew they wouldn't offer much. Privately people are selling a comparable car for $20k. It only has 16k km's in 16 months.

Reality is..Ford cars deappreicate a lot. If I have to sell it privately I will NOT go buy another Ford because of that fact alone. Which means I invested all that money on something that won't be worth much in a year or two or three.

Tonight I went to test drive the new 2013 Honda Accord as well, after I test drove the '13 Fusion SE, they only had one to test drive at the Ford dealership I went to. The driving experience of the Accord wasn't anything better than my 2011 Ford but the car is much better, you can tell by the feel and sound of the engine it's much better, materials is much better and I love the LED headlamps. Even though Honda didn't redesign their car by mixing it up and making it look like mutt, to me the new Accord looks like a Lexus.

The new Fusion..I am not too crazy about. As I said before, the thick pillars in the front windows are annoying and both the front and back visibility is not good either and the one I test drove didn't have the spoiler, so with it on I'm sure it would distract even more. The turn signals needs getting used to,took me a while to learn something that supposed to be so simple. AND if I were to order the Titanium, it would be 8 to 12 weeks.

One thing I should also note, when the Ford dealership heard I wanted to trade in my 2011, they looked at me as if I were crazy. When I went to the Honda dealerhip they said your appraisal is that low, no offense, because it's a Ford..lol.. oh well.

I picked up my new Fusion this past Friday!

All I can say is Awesome!

I was in a 2010 that I turned in when I received this one!

For the record, I am a fleet driver, and get the cars through my company, but it does NOT diminish the fact that this redesign is fantastic!

Some perspective.... I was in a 2010 Fusion SE... Remote start, power moon roof, cloth interior, with basic sound, no Nav.

I picked up a 2013 SE with i4-gtdi eco-boost, no Nav, No moonroof, cloth interior...

The redesign is ASTOUNDING! you really feel like you're in a euro sedan... The ugly flat center stack, is replaced by a sweeping center console, with leather trimmed shifter, with sport shift thumb!

The car really gets up and moves too when you ask it too.

The sight lines are ok, although the rear window seems a bit high...

The Bluetooth sound quality is GREAT! The few flaws I have found so far (and I LIVE IN THE CAR):

1. The 2 lower columns on either side of the center stack... They are useless and block any access to the "storage" and power outlet placed behind... Its a pain to negotiate ... Especially while driving.... They could have just cut those out and had a nice open area.

2. The trunk lid is a monster when open, and it does not open high enough... Average sized folks like myself, WILL be hitting either the backs of their heads, as they stand up out of the trunk, or the front, as they try to stoop to get into it!

The trunk itself is VERY low and deep, and I find myself laying down to get into the back of it... Clearly designed for ease of loading luggage and or golf bags...

3. The 6 o'clock position on the steering wheel has a plastic "v" that is very very cheap feeling and looks like crap... A esthetic, but it could have been done better....

4. Just a personal thing, but I HATE push button flip keys... They could have just gone with a push button on the dash acrossthe entire lineup ....

5. I miss my change drawer on the left of drivers side.... The small tray in the center arm rest doesn't cut it!

6. The radio button needs to be TURNED ON prior to selecting sirous, am/fm, etc. You can't just press Sirius.... Just an extra step and pet peeve....

All in all, the redesign is superb, and it no longer looks or feels like a fleet/rental vehicle!

When I noticed your flaws as well, I was like "what were they thinking" didn't they notice these flaws? the two columns on the centre stack, the trunk lid and the two thick pillars at the front?? And the steering wheel is too small and the feel isn't there, don't like the material they used, I found it uncomfortable. I will not be getting the new Fusion if I sell my 2011. To be honest with you all Ford lovers, I only went with a FORD only because everyone else said no to financing because I have student loans on my credit from years ago. But now that I have shown good payment history for 16 months with the Ford, it won't be difficult. Ford was the only one that checked my TransUnion report which showed good credit. The rest check Equifax.

I must be cranky..lol...
