Eagle
I think I may have an electrical problem, the following is what has happened: First I noticed that the back of the Moon roof had raised up. no problem with that as I do not use the moon roof so I removed the fuse. I went into a store with the car locked and all windows up. Came out and both front windows were down. Also the window lock button does not lock the windows where the other controls should not operate anything. My question has anyone had a problem with the windows in a 2012 Fusion?

Hi Eagle. :D The front windows opening sounds as though you may have accidentally activated the "Global Opening" feature on the keyfob. The rest of your issues would need to be properly diagnosed by the Dealerships Service Depaartment. Is your 2012 Fusion still within the 3 year/36,0000 mile New Car Warranty? If it is, make your life easier and schedule and appointment for a proper diagnosis and service/repair. Keep us updated and good luck. :beerchug: Edited October 15, 2012 by bbf2530

Lock & unlock doors, unlock trunk, & panic button.

And the "Global Opening" feature is controlled by pressing and holding the unlock button for a preset time. You are not the first person who has accidentally activated the feature while their keys were in a pocket, pocketbook etc. Also, it would probably be a good idea to take a quick look at your Owners Manual. It will help you understand many features your Fusion has which you may not be aware of. Good luck. :beerchug: Edited October 16, 2012 by bbf2530
Eagle
Thanks I will have to do that. I didn't think anyone read the owners manual. Is there a way to disable this feature? Edited October 16, 2012 by Eagle

Hi Eagle. :D If I recall correctly, yes it can be disabled. The instructions to disable/enable will be in...yes, you guessed it...the Owners Manual. Good luck. :beerchug:
Just a Guy in Fla.
Yes, it definitely sounds like you "butt-dialed" your windows down. The manual does describe how you enable or disable this feature, along with many others you may wish to set just the way you want them.
geost1
Hi Eagle. :D If I recall correctly, yes it can be disabled. The instructions to disable/enable will be in...yes, you guessed it...the Owners Manual. Actually I had this disabled on my car upon delivery. This feature is set "On" by default and CANNOT be disabled by the owner. The dealership CAN disable it, by access setting in the car's computer. Incidently your other issues may be setting that you can adjust. You don't have to read the owner's manual like a novel, try the index at the back to look up the topic you need. You got an excellent car. Just sounds like you need to get to know her.
Eagle
I took the Sport Fusion to the Dealer and had them DISABLE the Global opening.
acdii
They "fixed" that feature in the 2013, it can be controlled through the steering wheel.
