deesfusion
Wow! I have a 2014 SE 2.0 with a weird sloshing noise. Today was the first time I experienced that. Is this the same issue? I only have 285 miles on the car.
jeff711981
I'm debating whether or not to have this issue addressed in my car. I just bought it used, and apparently this hasn't been addressed. Got down just below 1/4 tank yesterday and I filled up. Barely took 10 gallons. I'm used to filling up at least once per week since I drive 80 miles per day to work and back and my previous car got around 325 miles per tank. Has anyone had any new problems come up as a result of having this issue addressed at the dealership? The instrument cluster and MyFord Touch has been flawless so far (although I've only had the car a week) and I'd hate to introduce bugs with a software update just to address the tank capacity issue or have a new rattle or something after having the fuel tank replaced.
akirby
Mine was done with no new issues.
daciresi
My tank was replaced back in September, at the same time they replaced the fuel delivery module (recall item). No new issues since that time. Tank capacity is better than before. Can now get almost 16 gallons in if I run it down to 0 DTE, but I never do that. I always get gas at the same place (Kroger), and usually get 13-14 gallons in with 30-40 DTE. My only real complaint with this car now that I've had it for a year is that it does get anywhere NEAR the advertised MPG...

I live in Orlando Florida so I drive combined Highway/City everyday. The best my wife and I can get in the Titanium 2.0 is 27 average MPG... It's not the end of the world, but i'd like to see it a bit higher! What really irritates me is that I can fill it up, reset the fuel and get 40mpg the entire way to work but as soon as I pull off the highway and get in the city, 21mpg COMES INTO PLAY.. hahaha!
Damir Čolak
Does anybody know if these "TSB'S" are effective in Canada as well? We have been having the same issue with our 2.5 Fusion since we purchased it in July, but are tentative about mentioning it to the dealer. Should we be? Seems strange that after filling out DTE would only be 510 km. My DTE after filling here in Chile, my 2.0 SE is 450 km, that is 270 miles!!! 12-13 L per 100km. Unbelievable... They all keep saying, the car is new, you must wait. I never heard of such a thing.

exner60
I've now had my Fusion SE 6-speed manual for 28 months (14,900 miles). The tank has been replaced yet again (3rd tank). When I picked up the vehicle after the dealership had it for four days, you guessed it: gas gauge was on 13/16. There's nothing more annoying than to have the pump shut off at 12.5 gallons and have to take 5+ minutes to squeeze in squirt by squirt the remaining three or more gallons. I'm having the same issue with my 2013 MKZ Hybrid. Edited May 9, 2015 by exner60
B-FusionSE
How have you been able to convince the service managers to take your vehicle and treat this as an issue. I have called several in my area, Denver, and no one calls me back after checking on it. I have even had one say they were ordering me parts, only to never call me back. The service by Ford in my area has been very poor. I have 1 month left of Warranty and I have a copy of the TSB that my car fits.
