Did anyone receive their Fusion 2013

After reading about all the delays, did anyone actually receive his fusion since october?

Mine was build around nov 5-12 with an ETA of 12-3. But some of you had their car buid way before me. Plus the dealer around my area doesn't seem to be receiving any new stock.

I do believe that the problem was fix and that car build after that date should be heading home to their new owner, but nothing is official

I am still waiting on mine. It has only been six weeks since I ordered it. I have heard that it takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks to get your car. I have received a VIN and the production date ( week of October 22nd) three weeks after my order was placed. I once had a ETA of 12/1, but that has been changed to undetermined.

So noboby receive their new Fusion 2013.

If so please post your option and comments. As for me I know that when I get mine there is a lot of little thing I will look into before leaving the dealer lot. Some post here will greatly help new owner avoid some annoying small defect

thanks

Mine was ordered on Labor day and it's built / I have the VIN. Dealer says it should be here at the end of the month, but I don't have any more details than that.

If you have the VIN I am curious on what ramp it is waiting to be ship?

here is a link where you can get info on your can. It will show you the window sticker. Just add your VIN after the = sign (at the end of the link)

I'm not going to order a Fusion, but I will buy one once they become more available. Right now, dealers have very few in stock. (I'm sure dealers are crying for more). Once they start to come in again, and once I find one that I want to buy, I'm going to check the "Build Date" to make sure it is one built in November or later. No sense in asking for trouble.

Also, once there are more available, and dealers have more in stock, they will be more willing to deal.

Ok, I just got it to work. The ramp on my window sticker is RWK6? I don’t know what that means.

IThanks LittleJaeger75.

I was trying to see if there was some corrolation between the ramp number and the Fusion hat are being ship to Flatrock, MI. Since I do believe that the ramp number is probably where the cars are being loaded on the train. As I can judge by some investigation, that the car that are now being build are ship to their respective dealer. So in your case you should get your car in the ETA the dealer has giving you.

ctrcbob, If you order our fusion now with a special order I do believe that you will get one that will for sure be build after november. As for the dealing part I don't believe that right now would be the best time to deal. Even with more stock. At around september next year then you will have more power of persuasion.

That is not a ramp number on your sticker. The ramp number is not assigned until your car's build is closed out and awaiting shipment. The waiting shipment has the ramp number in it.

I don’t care how they ship my deep impact blue beauty; I just want it here before December 21st. I have a short trip that I will be going on and I want to take the new care! Its been a long wait since I ordered the car. However, I have been very intrigued by more and more people and dealers receiving their cars.

Proud new owner of a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid, Deep Impact Blue, 505A, Tech package, driver assist package, Park assist, Nav, Beautiful car! They have been selling like hot cakes at my dealer, He got 7 in over the last few weeks and has 3 left after today. Two others were special orders, so in total they sold 6 Fusions this month. All they have left are the SE models.

Congrat acdii.

It's always a thrill to get a new car. Post back your impression after you have drove it for a few weeks.

I should be getting mine next week. The dealer call me and said that the car is on the train and should arrived in montreal on Monday, so I should get it by the end of next week latest. Finally after 3 waiting 3 months and some.

"Three months and some"!

In previous posts, I said that I've ordered twice from the factory, however I did order one additional time when I was attached to the American Embassy on the Third Largest Island in the Mediterranean. (I'll let you figure out what island that is). Ordered a British car while I was there. Ordered it in February and took delivery in May. That was three months. Dealer allowed me to go to the port with them to pick it up, and I drove it from the port back to the dealers showroom in the city where I lived. Dealer showed me how to put the top down, and the top never went back up until November. That was one car I never had problems with after ordering.

New subject. Your ordered cars may now be arriving, however here in Central Florida, the dealers are still getting "squat". I keep telling dealers that "you can't sell them if you ain't got them". I've looked as some other brands and models, but still like the Fusion Titanium best. I'm in no hurry, but my wife hates the SHO because it rides like a brick. Matter of fact, we are taking a short trip to Columbia SC tomorrow, and we will be taking her MKZ as she like the ride better. I've been taking the SHO when I travel alone, and the MKZ when we travel together.

I got a brochure on the Fusions today when I dropped off the second truck key. I see that now they list a Hybrid Titanium, but the build your own still doesnt list it. I asked the dealer what they can order, and they dont show it yet either. Too bad, I would have preferred a Titanium with fewer features, just for the Sony system. In any case, Im happy with the one I got, will be much happier if Ford gets their act together and gets the Applink for MyFord Touch working! I can still use Pandora, but I have to do it through the phone, and not the steering wheel. It also doesnt show the song track or artist.

Oh No more Jukebox either.

I was wondering the same thing (information wise, not your number :-) ). Can now see my window sticker, but really don't know what I am looking for in understanding build date etc.. Guess company loves misery! lol

If you can see the window sticker online, the date at the bottom is what I think of as a "lock in" date (though I'm sure there is an official term)... and unless there are issues with scheduling your build (temp shortages of a part needed for your option package, or other J-I-T pitfall), you will likely (but not guaranteed by any means) have a build date between 2 days and 2 weeks after that date.. again just going back some sampling of about 100 (or more?) VINs that I've done between window stickers and Etis. When you still can't see info for your own order, you get antsy and start sampling others to try and see how things are generally done... which is what I've done. So anyway that date range of 2 days - 2 weeks from window sticker --> Etis build is generally how it tends to go, unless some builds get stuck in purgatory for whatever reason.

So now that you have your VIN, you can also look it up in Etis and if the car hasn't been built yet you should see a '30.11.2002' as the build date, I guess that's the default date for those not yet built. But anyway, once it does get built you can see the actual date that it was done. www.etis.ford.com (it's a global site so the date format is different, and don't worry you aren't really buying a Transit Connect) -- good luck.

Hello all....got my 2013 Fusion SE this past Saturday (November 24) and it almost exactly 8 weeks. I live in Arizona (close to Mexico) and I ordered on the employee plan thanks to my brother. My config: ruby red, dune leather, 1.6 EB, 6-speed manual, luxury interior, MFT package and luxury wheels. Obviously none of those options really held up the process beyond expectations. The car has been very nice to drive so far, though the MFT does take a bit to get used to...it can be distracting to find what you're looking for quickly, though it is functioning exactly as designed...no glitches or software problems...just operator problems! For those interested, the manual trans is great. The shift lever is short throw, and very precise...almost like shifting an electric lever, rather than actually being connected to the trans. The clutch is light and has predictable engagement. All in all a very nice package. If I'm disappointed by anything, it's that the handling seems way less precise than my 2012 Focus with sport suspension. The Fusion feels much softer, and more luxurious. Finally, I am disappointed by the cost cutting on the taillamps on the SE vs the Titanium. All the pics of the backend show Titanium lighting, and I "assumed" that's what I would get on the SE. So much for assumptions! In just over 100 miles, mostly urban highway, I'm averaging 32.5 MPG. Drive One!

Thanks jeff_h !! Thanks for the reply and info. I was able to get this from Etis Build Date: 18.10.2012 and window sticker shows 10 08 12. My ETA was changed from week of Oct 29 to TBD. However, my dealer advised that today they received 5 Fusions so they think that the "hold" has been lifted. Nothing official from Ford Canada; purely speculation on my part and their part. Prior to that nothing was supposed to be coming across the border. Hopefully though, this is a good sign for all. I will post back when status changes to "it is mine". lol

I should add that when I look in Etis I also see this message and not sure what that means. Anyone?

If you do a search here in the forums, I believe there are a few threads on that -- I'm pretty sure 12T08 is a MyFordTouch (MFT) update, which (if others posting here are correct) can be done at the plant or can be done by the dealer? Again, search the term in the forum and you should get some hits.
