TomServo92
I joined the Fusion family this past Saturday. So far I love it! I had previously owned an '04 Mazda6 and I can definitely feel the Mazda DNA in it. Here's a pic:
urnews
I joined the Fusion family this past Saturday. So far I love it! I had previously owned an '04 Mazda6 and I can definitely feel the Mazda DNA in it. Here's a pic: Congratulations on your new Fusion, Tom, and welcome to the forum. Very nice ride. Was the pinstripe standard or did you have it done? Looks nice. Is that an SEL? Tell us more about your new car.
Meelaan
Welcome to the Dark Side, Tom. Image links are screwed up on this site, but clicking it works. Pretty car. Pinstripe is unusual though. Kinda like putting wire wheel hub caps on a Porsche.
TomServo92
It's an SEL with the following options: Auto (wife demanded it) ABS Heated seats Audiophile sound system Medium stone interior The pin stripe and window tint were dealer installed (but not my dealer). I dealer that I normally buy from didn't have any with the options we wanted but he found one another dealer. He called me up and said "I found an SEL like you want...however...it already has window tint and it's been pinstriped". The tint didn't bother me (would've done that anyway) but I was a bit worried about the stripe. It's actually not bad in person. The funny thing is the exact same thing happened with the Mazda6!
urnews
Tom, Is it an I4 or a V6? Must be a Job #1 2007, built before Sept. 6, 2006, because it doesn't seem to have a radio mast near the back glass. I prefer the "no antenna" look myself. Your antenna is built into the rear glass. You probably don't have an iPod connection in the bottom of the center console either. Ours has it but we never use it. I would rather have the audiophile radio that you have.

IrishMallard
pinstripes look better on it. I prefer fusions with pinstripes and pinstripes are a deciding factor for me when buying a car.

The car looks great... But I would prefer going pinstripeless. Only because it takes away from the chrome trim. But despite the pinstripe... I LOOKS GREAT!
