GCMedic05 Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 Hey I have a 2006 Milan Premier 2.3 with a 5M. Blew a front main seal the other day and having a hard time finding the transmission. Found 2 but they're quite far away, and personally I'm not a fan of the transmission. Even less so now lol. Was wondering if anyone had heard anything of a mazda 6 trans from same year possibly fitting in. If not any tips for anywhere I could look for a replacement transmission. If no one knows for sure that it will work I'll just have to suck it up and deal with the clunky feeling ford tranny. MonoxideChild Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 From referencing the information out there, they list the Ford fusion 5 speed manual trans as being a G5M just like the Mazda6.
