mikejapp
My 2010 Fusion's low tire warning came on so I checked all tires w/ my stick gauge and all were above 30. Then got my dial gauge and checked again, same result. On a whim I even checked the spare tire in case it has a sensor too. I added air to the tire that had 30 and the warning still comes on. The door sticker says 33. Bad sensor? Has anybody else had this before? Thanks!
Waldo
What does it say in the message center? If it says system fault, then it's likely a sensor, if it says low pressure, then it's low pressure.
hermans
There is no sensor in the spare tire.
FusionDiffusion
If you checked the tires after driving the vehicle, the pressures will be a few psi higher since the tires heated up. Check the pressures again in the morning (cold) and inflate to the reccomended pressure listed on the driver's door jam sticker.
fusionfamily
Inflate the tires correctly (and your spare should be at 60, not 30psi), and go for a drive. The sensors (if they're asleep) won't wake up till you hit 25mph. The light should reset itself then.
