I have a 2006 Fusion SEL V6 and I have noticed the slow moving power window, rattle in dash bulkhead, and wind noise from B Pillar on both driver and passenger sides.

I've taken it to the dealer twice and they didn't do anything about it either time.

Disappointed!

Suck it up. You don't have real problems until parts fall off and the engine fails.

SPEAKER POP NOISE WITH AUDIOPHILE (NON NAVIGATION) SOUND SYSTEM

========

Have this problem in my Milan. Has "audiophile" (non-vaigation) sound system. Requires special order replacement cable harness in audio system to fix.

The "pop" occurs only in my rear deck speakers, only when engine is running, and only when the brake pedal is pressed. The problem is repeatable about 75% of the time.

I also am suffering from the slow automatic windows. But only in the front ones. Im afraid to open my windows in fear they'll break. In my history of dealing with car/computer recalls I usually get a letter in the mail telling me to go online and enter my VIN/Serial number of the car/product to see if it is there system of "affected" products. I may have to call me dealer and ask on that.

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2007 ford fusion and ive noticed that when i start my fusion after only one night it always starts fine but jumps up to like 2500 rpm and takes a while to go to normal (about 1000-1100 rpm for my car)

it sounds louder, almost like i punched the gas while in park. (i dont haha). After letting the temp rise a little she evens out, and i drive away. and when i go out and about and drive around all day every time after

the initial start up for the day, it instantly goes down to the normal 1000-1100 rpm. I do live in a cold climate, (wisconsin) and it doesnt do it in warmer weather (that i know of). So is this a serious problem,

or just normal for start up when its around 32 degrees?

PLEASE HELP! haha

:sos:

STEERING GRUNT NOISE ON LEFT HAND TURNS

Yup, brought it to dealer a few times. Couldn't get it to make noise for technician. Finally, had enough and brought it in. Had the service guy drive with me. As soon as I turned left he heard it. Another left and heard it again.

Steering Gear Rack - has internal problem. Being replaced. I called them today to make sure that they also did an alignment, flush power steering fluid, and bleed the system to remove trapped air. Service guy said Yes, that is all part of replacing rack.

Hope all is well on my test drive tonight.

Sorry, had to add that this work is being done on my son's 2007.

I have a 2007 Fusion AWD with about 75K miles. The wining I heard ended up being the driveshaft carrier bearings, which my mechanic claims cannot be replaced. You have to replace the entire driveshaft.

At the same time there was an odor after the car got warmed up that smelled like natural gas. This turned out to be a bad seal on the transfer case (aka PTU). Since so much of the lubricant had leaked out it was burned into a gel-like substance and destroyed the bearings. Per my mechanic the bearings cannot be replaced and the entire unit has to be done.

I cannot view the details in any of the service bulletins, but I was wondering of any of these issues could be covered by a Ford recall?

Thank you.

I have a 2007 Fusion AWD with about 115K miles. In 8 years I have not had any issues until now. I had a humming whining noise that ended up with the driveshaft. I still have the problem after being replaced TWICE. The first driveshaft caused a bad vibration mainly at speeds of between 20-30 mpg and under load such as going up hills. They put the original driveshaft back on while we waited the 3-4 weeks for the 2nd replacement. Well here we go again... the new driveshaft AGAIN is vibrating.

Also they have replaced the wheel bearings and cv axles. Please help! thanks
