prdobson
My 2010 FFH with 20,000 miles is making a noise when ever I brake after changing directions. Backing out of the garage in the morning there is a loud click sound when stopping and when I brake next after going forward I hear the same noise. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? akirby
Loose pads? Yep but that would only show up under braking.

lolder
It might have something to do with springs or clips in the brake. Have a shop check it. It might be under warranty if it's a broken clip or spring.

lolder
http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6180-cracking-noise/page-16 I think this is about 2013s and involves any torque change, not just braking. This OP talks about a 2010 braking. It may be the same so he should take it to Ford anyway.
acdii
A 2010 with 20K, most likely sticking brake pads. The 2013 clicking is a missing shim on the axles. However, there could also be a loose axle. In either case have a dealer look at it.
